Microwave Enterprises is pleased to announce that we are a Patron member of the International Grown Diamond Association (IGDA) which launched in February. IGDA is a not-for-profit organization that represents the grown diamond industry, will promote grown diamonds and educate about various unique qualities of grown diamonds and their applications. Founded in the US, the IGDA seeks to serve as the central point of communication, education, development and growth of the industry. Richard Garard, CEO of Microwave Enterprises has also been appointed as Secretary General for IGDA. Mr. Garard commented that MWE looks forward to broadening our interaction with the lab grown diamond industry and helping to implement the goals of the Association.

MWE will be exhibiting (BOOTH #911) at the MRS Fall conference held in Boston Massachusetts at the Hynes Convention Center from November 30 to December 3. This annual conference brings materials research scientists and applications engineers from around the world. MWE will be available to discuss our line of single crystal diamond material from IIa Technologies and the DiamoTek microwave plasma reactor equipment used for CVD diamond growth.

Keith Harris Joins Microwave Enterprises as Business Development Manager
Microwave Enterprises announced that Keith Harris has joined the company as Business Development Manager. In this position, Mr. Harris will be responsible for sales of the company’s line of CVD diamond material throughout North America. Mr. Harris brings over 25 years of experience in the sales of industrial diamond for precision tooling and scientific applications. He served as VP Sales, COO and President at former Harris Diamond Corporation. He also served on the Board of Directors for Industrial Diamond Association of America.

MWE will be exhibiting at the 2014 Conference on New Diamond & Nano Carbon to be held in Chicago Illinois from May 25th to the 29th. This annual international meeting brings research scientists and applications engineers working in advanced applicaitons of lab grown diamond materials. Microwave Enterprises Becomes Distributor of Lab Grown Diamond Materials
Richard Garard, CEO of Microwave Enterprises (MWE), announced that MWE is now a distributor in North America for the lab grown diamond material produced by IIa Technologies, Pte, Singapore. IIa Technologies hosts the world’s largest CVD production facility for lab grown diamond. Microwave Enterprises and its predecessor company, also under Mr. Garard, have been producing CVD diamond equipment for over 10 years. By combining the DiamoTek diamond process equipment with the availability of high quality lab grown diamond materials, MWE is now in a unique position to service the scientific and industrial markets for all their diamond needs.

CVD Diamond Process Equipment Moves into High Volume Production
Microwave Enterprises confirmed that their DiamoTek CVD diamond processing equipment is now in high volume production of lab grown diamond material. The microwave reactor technology employed in the DiamoTek products is used for diamond material growth for ultra-nano, nano-crystalline, polycrystalline and single crystal diamonds. The unique features of the DiamoTek design ensures the best possible efficiency of converting microwave energy to diamond growth requirements and hence very significant to cost of ownership optimization for scaled up production operations.

Joseph Wander Named President & Chief Technical Officer of Microwave Enterprises
Microwave Enterprises, LTD announced that Joseph Wander has been named President & CTO of the company which is dedicated to producing microwave systems for CVD diamond processes. Prior to joining Microwave Enterprises, Mr. Wander served as General Manager of the Plasma Products Div of Lambda Technologies, Inc., where he was responsible the design and development of all the DiamoTek CVD plasma products. Mr. Wander holds a BSME from Virginia Tech and a MSME from MIT. He has been working with microwave and CVD diamond equipment and processes for over 10 years.

Microwave Enterprises Ltd established based on sale of Plasma Products Div by Lambda Technologies.
Microwave Enterprises, LTD has been established to continue development and sale of the DiamoTek Microwave CVD products, following the sale of substantially all the assets of the Plasma Products Division of Lambda Technologies, Inc. Microwave Enterprises (MWE) will continue to operate out of the Lambda Technologies facility in Morrisville, NC under a services agreement with Lambda. The DiamoTek microwave plasma CVD products are used almost exclusively for diamond deposition and the full range of lab grown diamond material. MWE microwave reactor products are based on proprietary technology exclusively licensed from Michigan State University.
